Rico Mannion is an Irish DJ and producer based in Dubai, creating emotionally driven progressive house and melodic techno shaped by a lifelong love of music rather than a career-first plan.

Before DJing, Rico played guitar in blues and rock bands, drawing early inspiration from artists like Black Sabbath and Led Zeppelin — a foundation that shaped his sense of atmosphere, tension and release. His move toward electronic music came in his mid-to-late twenties, through nights at Fabric in London and festival experiences at Tomorrowland, Glastonbury and Zamna in Tulum, where he discovered the emotional power of a great set.

Rico began DJing in 2023 and released his first track in 2024. A fan first and producer second, his sound moves between two worlds: the groove and colour of blues, funk and disco, and the emotional drive of progressive house and melodic techno. Every set is built as a journey — one designed to leave people feeling reflective, uplifted and like everything is going to be okay.
